UNDERGOING PROJECT
Patan Hospital :
Recently we have contracted to work for Patan Hospital New Maternity
Building extension project. This work is being carried first time in Nepal.
The technology is very much famous in European countries.
NEC (New Embassy Compound) , New American Embassy :
We have awarded contract in June 2005 for Supply, Installation, Testing
Comissioning of Entire Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Safety
Security System, Electrification and External Electrical System. The
contract was awarded to work jointly with Caddell International, (USA), Enka
(Turkey). The work we have awarded is very much specialized and we are
committed to complete with complete satisfaction.
Physical Security Upgrades,
Phora Durbar Compound for U.S Embassy
The major work associated with this project are installation
of split air conditioning units and laying of under ground fuel pipeline.
The project was awarded to Microtech on March 2005 and is schedule to
complete on October 2006. Microtech is working as sub contractor for
Desbuild Incorporated U.S.A and under supervision for Himalayan Builder and
Associates.
B. MAJOR PROJECT COMPLETED
Tribhuvan International
Airport Improvement Project, Package 1.1 & 1.2), Kathmandu, Nepal
This project was awarded
to Microtech on May 1998 and was
completed on May 2001. Microtech worked as principal subcontractor for Sambu
Construction of, South Korea and the project consultants were ACRES NORR LEA
Consortium (Canada) in association with BDA (P.) Ltd.
The only international standard airport in Nepal,
Microtech was awarded the project in negotiated bid fo
r Mechanical,
Electrical and Plumbing works. This has been one of the major undertaken by Microtech in terms of amount involved and technical challenges. The total
turnover of the project was NRs. Sixty Million Rupees and the scope of work
ranges from supply and installation of all the mechanical, electrical and
plumbing equipment to its installation, drawing preparation, testing and
commissioning and the final handover.
Hotel Grand, Kathmandu,
Nepal
Ninety-one bedroom, 4 star, hotel at Tahachal, Kathmndu and
one of the tallest building in
the country, was awarded to Microtech on Dec
’97 & completed on Apr '99. The scope of work involved Mechanical
consultancy, design, installation and commissioning of Heating Ventilation
and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) services. The total value for their work is NRs.
Eight Million Five hundred thousands rupees. This was the first design /
built project for HVAC system, being undertaken by Microtech with successful
completion.
Atam Gyan Prachar Sangh,
Kathmandu
1500 people capacity hall, at Samakusi, Kathamndu was awarded
to Microtech on Aug ’98 was completed on October ’99. The scope of work
involved was modification in design, installation and commissioning of HVAC
and electrical services. The total value of the project is NRs. Three
Million and Five Hundred Thousands Rupees. We still are actively working on
this client for mechanical and electrical service.
Hotel Gangjong, Kathmandu
Sixty-five
bedroom, hotel at Lazimpat was awarded to Microtech
on July ’98. The scope of work involves consultancy, design, installation
and commissioning of HVAC services. The project was completed on August
2000. The total value of the project is NRs. Three Million and Two Hundred
Thousands Rupees and we are still attending their regular maintenance for
HVAC system.
Rigpe Dorje Institute,
Kathmandu
The scope of work involves consultancy, design, supply of
equipments and installation of all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing
services. Even though the project was started on February 1999, it has yet
to be completed in all respect. But all the mechanical, electrical and
plumbing works has been completed. This project has given us positive
experience in designing of Monastery.
Hotel Shangri-La
The scope of work involves design, supply and
installation of
centralized HVAC system and plumbing services for the 24 new rooms in fourth
floor. The plumbing service includes hydro pneumatic pump system and water
treatment plant, including aeration tank works. Overall renovation of the
air conditioning system and plumbing system was also awarded to microtech m
& e, after the completion of fourth floor expansion project. The total value
of the project was NRs. Five Million Rupees Only.
Hotel Yak & Yeti
Microtech has been involved with Hotel Yak and Yeti, one of
the most reputed 5 star hotel in Kathmandu, for past 6 years. We have
undertaken their turn key projects like renovation / modification of main
kitchen works, electrical works for newly built parking facilities, schedule
chiller maintenance and all kind of electro mechanical work. Our
relationship with the client till date has been our attribute for the
quality and professionalism we have shown towards our work.
Beside the hotel facilities, we have been involved with
all MEP works for Modern Indian school and their housing works too. We have
been working their on design built projects as well as low side installation
works.
LSG Sky Chefs (Flight
Catering Project)
Undertaking
of M/S Soaltee Hotel Limited, the project was
awarded to Microtech on December 2001 and was completed on April 2002. One
of the most sophisticated and specialized kitchen, Microtech was responsible
for supply and installation of HVAC equipments, namely chiller, AHU, FCU,
Walk in Refrigerators, fire pump and accessories. We have successfully
installed air conditioning system that have requirement for 2 zone at same
time with one chiller system. The total value of the project was Nrs.
Fourteen Million Rupees.
Phora Durbar Electrical
Upgradation Project, Embassy of the United States of America
The scope of work involves installation of fiber glass tanks,
day oil tank, fuel dispensing unit, fuel pipeline works, installation /
testing and commissioning of generator set, civil works for preparation of
generator works. This project was awarded to Microtech M & E on September
2001 and was completed on Feb 17, 2002. This project is done on lump sum
basis with value of NRs. Five Million Six Hundred seventy thousands three
hundred eighty seven rupees and five paisa only (NRs. 5,670,387.05 Only)
Public Affairs and Consular
Service Relocation Project for U.S. Embassy at Hotel Yak and Yeti
Microtech has recently completed this project which involved
MEP works for Consular section and Public Diplomacy Section of U.S. Embassy.
This project was awarded to Microtech on October 2004 and completed on April
2005, with an total value of NRs. Twenty Million Rupees. The scope of work
covered under this project was supply and installation of technologically
advanced HVAC system which included Building Automation System, VAV boxes,
specialized AHUs and DG set, stabilizer, UPS system, security system,
data/telephone networking. All the testing and commissioning was done by
Micrtoech.
Information Technology Park,
Banepa
Undertaking of His Majesty’s Government of Nepal,
Microtech was awarded
this work as sub contractor for Chitwon COE. Microtech
was involved in supply and installation of all the electrical works, that
involves DG set, Transformer works, electrification, under floor
data/telephone networking. The project was awarded to Microtech on July 2002
and was completed on May 2004.
Casino RAD
Built at facilities of Hotel Radisson in Kathmandu, Microtech
was awarded this as a turnkey project. HVAC, plumbing and electrical system
were designed and all the installation work were completed on time. This
project has challenges of connection works for electrical, plumbing and
chill water pipeline from the existing facilities, which we completed with
out any disturbance to the ongoing facilities. The project was awarded on
March 2003 and was completed on January 2004.
Casino Tara
Built at Hyatt Regency, this casino project too, was awarded
to Microtech on turn key basis. All the MEP works were carried out from post
construction phase to the final hand over phase. Started on April 2003 it
was completed on March 2004.
B.P.Koirala Cancer Memorial
Hospital, Bharatpur
Microtech worked with principal architect M/S Design Cell for
design of centralized HVAC system. Being a very specialized health
facilities, we were able to successfully design and strongly supervise the
installation work, till it has been handed over. This was our first design
project in which we were not involved as contractor.
Nepalgunj Medical College,
Nepalgunj
High end hospital facilities service, Microtech was awarded
this project for plumbing and sanitary works under Chitwon COE as sub
contractor. All the plumbing pipelines with sanitary fixtures work were
carried out by Microtech. The project was awarded on August 2000 and
successfully completed on March 2002.
Extension and Reinforcement
of Power Transmission system and Distribution System for Kathmandu Valley,
Phase 3
With finance from Government of Japan and under direct
supervision from
Consortium of Kinden and Sumitama Corporation, Japan ,
Microtech was awarded this challenging project on August 2004. The project
was completed on April 2004 where in Microtech worked as sub contractor for
J.B. Construction Ltd. The major work carried our under this project were
Installation, Testing & Commission of equipments at 3 substation in
Kathmandu Valley. The approximated cost of the project was NRs. Five Million
Rupees.
B.P.KOIRALA
Institute of Health Science , Ghopa Dharan
"Operation and Maintenance of
Electrical works and Energy Audit works" was awarded to Microtech M & E on
November
2005, for a period of one year with possibility of extension up to 3 years.
The project is our new endeavor into maintenance related works for operation
and maintenance of electrical system. Spread into lush 500 Acres of land in
scenic Dharan (formerly known as Ghopa Camp),
this project is very much challenging due to critical nature of hospital.
Major scope of work under this contract consists of all kind
of electrical maintenance and operation works for hospital facilities,
hostel complexes and teaching districts. Though our contract is only for
electrical maintenance and operation, we plan to improve the overall
electrical system of the hospital with in period of one year, especially in
field of fire alarm system, effective operation of powerhouses and energy
audit works.
Tribhuvan International
Airport Improvement Project, Package No. 6.2, Cargo Building
Working as sub contractor for M/S Hanil Koneko JV, Microtech
was responsible for designing and installation of almost 1600 wet type
sprinkler system. The work included sprinkler and fire hydrant pump set. The
project was awarded on July 2001 and completed on August 2003.
Tribhuvan
International Airport/Air Cargo Division :
Recently we have
successfully completed construction of cold room at Tribhuvan International
Airport. The Nepal's International Airport have such Cold Room Capacity of
18MT including Fruit, Vegetable, Meat, Poultry to be stored for export
provision.
Ratobangla School:
Recently we have completed sanitary and plumbing work for Rato Bangla School
at Lalitpur.
Tilganga Eye Hospital:
We have also completed fire fighting work at Tilganga Eye Hospital.
Hospital for Neurological
and Allied Science
Microtech has been awarded the plumbing works for this project
under M/S Chitwon COE. The project is under construction and is scheduled to
complete on February 2006. Works associated with this project as plumbing
pipelines and sanitary fixtures works. All the detailed design and drawing
has been completed for this project.
